I can't believe how invested I am into this story given its foundation on so many absurdities, raunchy jokes, tired tropes, and perverted (in many senses of the word) archetypes.

The author really knows how to distill the juices oozed to the bottom of the trash bag into ink which brings to life peak entertainment on paper.

Personally, I feel the author still needs to resolve some loose ends with the tonal shift form the OG timeline. It's hard to accept it even though I know that the ring's curse was responsible for Krimhield acting like a psycho.

From what I understood, the whole dream sequence was a alternate world where things went very differentely, and where Attila realised his ambitions of marrying Kriemhild was not his, but the ambition of this alternate world Attila. With the whole sequence he realised he was actually empty (hence Naked Emperor), and didn't have any "want" of his own at all. With Kriemhild cheering him, he finally got a purpose of his own, and that is to make the princess happy, not his. And the whole curse thing, since Rudiger also went inside the dream sequence, and his/her curse got really strong since there, Witege "took" his son from him, and since he took something so precious the curse manifested in reality
