Aside from all the flaws, this is still kind of an okay read to me. At least there's a different, somewhat interesting premise with the boat summoning, although the boats themselves are incredibly OP, as usual with most isekai.
The worst part might be that MC gets no 'action', but honestly, at this point I'd feel bad for anybody who would even bother to give him that... Maybe the mangaka agreed?
But then, why make MC such a tiny, weird looking guy that lacks any kind of backbone and can only do pervy stuff in his own head?
Oh well, despite the little tufts of hair poking out like tiny horns, I don't think we need to worry about MC going dark and becoming the demon lord or whatever.
Although I would have been a LOT more impressed if they would address the kidnapping of (dark) elves and take things more seriously with the war and everything. But heck, the slaves are happy and have rights and stuff, so why am I surprised when one moment, the 'bad guys' get murdered and the next page, we are celebrating with food and drinks, while the corpses might still be floating by?
Wait, didn't I start by saying "aside from all the flaws..." and then start listing gripes with flaws for most of this rant??
Heck, if it did get all dark and gritty and showed the actual blood, torture and things of that nature (I'm pretty sure that abducted elves aren't used for normal household chores as slaves, if you catch my drift), then this would also be an entirely different manga and then I would be complaining about THAT instead, because I don't like bad things happening!
I mean, I am still stuck with Astro king (DO NOT READ THAT SHIT) in my head and how horrible the people in that were abused, etc.
So I AM kind of glad that this is more lighthearted, but it just seems a bit TOO casual at several moments.
And again, MC is just SUCH a little wimp! How he managed to properly do trading and not get completely ripped off and left broke in the streets is beyond me.
Also, we do get to see some 'stat windows' and levels a bit earlier in the story, but why the heck is this all left out in the later chapters? ESPECIALLY after they were able to defeat tons of monsters at sea, that supposedly give an astonishing amount of exp.? Though yet again, the consequences mentioned about leveling up also seem worrying to me.
I for one would certainly not like to live for hundreds, let alone a thousand years! But I guess you'd need to clear out the entire oceon to get that much leveling done??
Sorry, sorry, me thinking 'out loud' (while typing) made this a bit long, so let's just leave it at this. I'll do myself a favor and go to bed too, because it's almost midnight and last night was already pretty shitty as well, so why I was up this late with my eyes already hurting in the afternoon...?? Yeah, never mind. Thanks for reading if you got this far somehow.
