The discussion about finding a hiding spot for the elf and beast girls made me think. He figured pretty early that stuff left on the unsummoned boats will still be there on the next re-summoning; and that alone is already perfect for some basic contraband. Absolutely undetectable. Unlimited storage. Not free coz he has to pay for those rubber boats but they're so cheap it's not worth thinking about.

Now, MC is trying to smuggle people and coming up with some different (actually much more conventional and thus likely to be discovered) scheme to achieve that. Why not just rely on the same trick ? Ok, we don't know where these boats go on unsummon so you obviously have to do some experiments first to try and figure if it's safe. Maybe start with a potted plant, then a chicken or something… I guess there is a bit of a moral quandary with the first time trying that on a living human ?

Whatever, I'd just like to see someone attempting to get some sciencing going on rather than taking all this magic crap at face value. My suspicion is that the unsummoning dimension is actually a perfect stasis and they wouldn't even be aware of the passage of time in there but who knows, discovering a magical gods'-cupboard dimension might be cool too ?
