Well the last page of this chapter pretty well spelled out what the trio were Actually going to encounter; but even if there was some kind of ghost haunting the place, can't WishyWashio summon demons and stuff?
This MC flip-flops between "I want to teach people" to "I'm so useless, find someone better to teach you" so often that it kind of makes me want to root for the opposition--even if they are equally insufferable.
