So far, not bad.
I rate it 7/10 at chapter 2. The real test will be if it can do something novel from here.

There are some pretty good manga with Slime-taming, let's see how this one will compare.

I'd say, a better version of "gomi hiroi no tabi" if this level of interestingness (lol) keeping up.

Do the publishing companies never get tired of shoving the exact same manga over and over?

god, I hate capitalism.

Having different versions of a story plot is good. Everyone has their own take. I know there’s certain plots I like that are either few in number or just have versions I don’t like. Or I just enjoy reading the same plot even from different authors.

This is pretty chill so far, not bad, but they're gonna have to spice something up so the story doesn't become too dull

The slime is the best part of this manga. The fact that it could be expressive while being just a cute featureless blob that just consumes stuff makes my heart warm up like you wouldn't believe. It seems like the slime could be the reason why the old man reincarnated back into his younger self too, with it being the same slime he summoned in this new timeline really makes the story very interesting for me.

Waiting for the chapter where they turn the slime into a dragon. Or a waifu. Or a dragon waifu.

Why are Japanese author so obsessed with slimes? It's such an unremarkable monster with simple design.
It would be one thing if it was once in a while, but nearly every Japanese fantasy story, specially isekai, have a slime as the protagonist's pet

da fck you smoking bro, ain't no away this is better then 'Journey to Pick Up Trash'
maybe it can get better, but story-telling, art, pacing was much better there

the anime adaptation is quite nice, so i would recommend you try watching it
my only gripe with the story is how incompotent the other/older adventurers are
everyone relying on her too much and cant think of a decent plan..
later plot of season 1 become more detective mystery, find the bad guys...

i rather preffered the more light hearted adventure journey with the slimes and the struggle that ensues.

Hopefully season 2, or rest of the manga story improves or goes back to the initial premise.

Seems okay , could be better could be worse.

Though dying alone leaving your pet trapped in your home with your corpse sounds like nightmare fuel in hindsight.
