, not really though, there's some with men include. I think we sometimes exaggerating the normal skinship or closeness between girls as Girl's Love. Of course I still involved them on the list since, well, can't be helped.

I do treat Yuri like how I like spicy food. I don't like or dislike them all, it need to be hot, spicy, sometimes juicy, has a specific shapes of the side dishes and I can enjoy it in High Definition Quality. So I'm welcome for more suggestions.

Ah, I love writing about strong women, especially in lead roles. But, I can't help but give them hearts. There's strength in love (I do the same with men)
Though I did write about this particularly crazy chick some years ago, she was insane, vulgar, powerful, went on bizarre sci-fi odysseys. But, she eventually married, dragged her husband about on her adventures, had a son, he was taken and suddenly she grew serious. She couldn't find him for 18 years. She missed his entire childhood, his teen years...
I do miss writing about her, had to stop because she's tied to a much bigger story. I was gonna do something in said story though. I had this role, the First of this gigantic Elven Family which serve as the centrality of the entire story. The role of one named Glasius was going to be a woman, it did feel right at the time, but Glasius in past reiterations had been envisioned as a man. Though that project has slowed as I'm focused elsewhere... Hmm...
Another contributing factor is, is that at the time, I was tired of streamline, basic Wednesday Emo Female Protagonists! But, I do have a thing of taking something I have a problem with and making it something I can enjoy...

Dorohedoro shared protagonists M/F no romance, the author is wild and so are her manga
Rania Yama self published by an english author, can be funny but is pretty wild in its own right
At the Northern Fort cute SoL isekai, the MC is now a fox, hopefully not romance anytime soon
Despite Coming From the Abyss, I Will Save Humanity can't say I like it very much but I am up to date on it so I must find something in it, otherwise the title say it all
If You Lay a Hand on My Brother, You're All Dead Only the first saison absolute canon ball of a isekai FMC, no real romance in the first saison, the second one the FMC is still not into that shit but god damn the supporting character are becoming cancer real fast, it is still a very fun first saison and worth to read it
Killing Me / Killing You shared MMC and FMC, no romance, both of them are undying and try to find dead in their "dead" world
mahou shoujo jihen same as the one before but with an official publisher, the art is really nice and the raw are promising (ver slow update warning)

Gunnm so warning romance is a big part of this one but not in the @romance tag way, if you know you know, but you have a solid story a solid world and an even stronger FMC, the follow up story does have more romance in the normal way and it is it own can of worms but I strongly recommend it

I'm a big fan of Masamune Shirow.
His work typically involves FMC with a strong character.

• We have the aforementioned GITS, which is the most well known. I find the manga leagues better than its anime adaptation. And the live action adaptation barely deserves mentioning at all: it copy-pasted a few iconic scenes, but the spirit of the work is essentially missing.
• Appleseed* is also pretty well-known, but not quite as much. Romance is not exactly excluded and can be important at times, but overall not a strong focus either. Also has an anime adaptation, but I haven't watched it so I can't judge. Note that the FMC here is a pure human in a world with many cyborgs and robots. She's very strong for a base human, but her fighting strength is pretty low overall compared to many others, Briaeros in particular. It shows a lot in later parts of the story.
• Dominion Tank Police* is quite a fun ride. (Similar vibes to You're under arrest!, but with a sci-fi setting. And this latter one deserves an honorary mention even though romance is involved.) The cast is pretty large and wild, but the main character is the very active female of the police team. No romance, unless you count her crush on her tank. Also has an anime adaptation which is actually pretty good compared to most other adaptations. Another noteworthy point is that the villains are not just one-sided evil goons.
• Orion* is a much wilder ride. The FMC does have a strong crush that drives her forward, so romance is pretty central to her story. It doesn't make the FMC stupid... or rather she is a natural airhead so it doesn't affect her IQ that much. And it definitely doesn't make her helpless or remove her agency. The world is very centered around eastern occult terminology so it's a bit of a heavy read at times.
• Black Magic, an earlier collection of works instead of a single consolidated story, but already features FMCs. I'd have to read it again, but I don't remember romance playing a part there.

* I don't see any chapter for these, so a bit of research might be required.

But...what about yuri with a pseudo-heterosexual dynamic, where the MC also meets no less strong partners or has a male x female dynamic with another woman (this is especially common in pantsu fighting with naive shonen-like protagonists, where many of the love interests are psycho lesbians)? I can at least generally understand people who complain about strong women who end up being damsels in distress anyway, but I will never understand people who use complaints about gender stereotypes as just a cover when they actually quietly enjoy it if their partner is another woman.

Pretty sure there are josei with this exact setup, but your point is still a good one. It's mindboggling how menpeople treat promiscuous men (Chad!) differently from promiscuous women (used goods!) when there's no logical reason to do so.

For the former: No romance yet (aside from some blushing young men in the periphery), although I personally find the heroine to be a bit insufferable and male wish fulfillment-y by being the perfect MILF waifu. It's kinda nice to see her presented as a mother without the need for a man, though.

(yeah yeah, I get it that by being such a doting mother she's enforcing gendered stereotypes. Baby steps)

For the latter: It's all about the kaiju (and a badass FMC wih an axe). Tiny bit of "romance" that quickly gets subsumed by said kaiju.
