There are other cases (chapter 18) but I don't really care since only one case is enough to refute OP's point. There's also the problem of the story being told through the main character rather than a less involved narrator. This narrator is going to notice negative girls more than neutral or positive ones because of his past experiences. So, try again with your "inceldom" rubbish.

I can understand Ichinose reasoning, we already knew Hanabi isolated him from both males and females since chapter 1 so he will be focused solely on her, without a chance to compare their "relationship" with anyone else.

Ichinose is still pretty much "fresh" in relationships, technically Yukishiro is actually his first female friend he thinks romantically for, think he still believes it's for other half to start the next step as Hanabi was the one doing it all the time but Yukishiro is unconfident and likely to progress further.

The part of the story that makes up vol 2 of the LN was never posted online and is purely LN original content as far as I'm aware. In all likelihood, the publisher that picked it up to publish it as a LN didn't want to leave it as a one-off and asked for enough content for a second volume.
