Not saying it doesnt make sense to split, but some reasons to just have one warehouse would be providing personal to guard for just one place and also logistical it would be less convenient to have to run like 4 kilometers to get 4 things from 4 warehouses. In case of an attack it actually would be worse. Id probably store most stuff in one place, but dangerous materials like gunpowder somewhere a bit away.

I was thinking of something like 20 meters, not 4 kilometers. 20 meters might already be enough to help a whole lot to limit the damage if one building started burning.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen a narrative—or a character’s perspective—where they feel guilty about using the MC for his abilities, which he gained in exchange for everything he had in his old world.

It seems the MC didn’t feel too sad about it, since he believes it’s still possible to return to his original world.

That’s nice. It’s rare to see that in isekai manga—or maybe I just haven’t read enough of them.
