This series would be an absolute 10/10 if this entire time we’re lead to believe she’s intentionally grooming him, but she’s actually just REALLLLLY bad an understanding proper parental boundaries and genuinely was trying to be a good mom.

I mentioned this in a comment back in like chapter 2! She's clearly done sex work in the past so I'm still wondering if this is a legit bait and switch where she's just trying to actually be helpful but can't turn off her sex appeal, so it comes across as weird to him and us as the readers. Plus keep in mind we stay in his perspective this entire time, making him a possible unreliable narrator. You this could all be his perception of her that were seeing. I honestly think that would be way more interesting for the story, but will have to wait and see.
