Oh my, fresh angst! And pretty decent quality without ruining the ... flavor? the bouquet of angst? ... the whatever you call enjoyable angst balance within a work 💐. Captain's thread in the plot is more interesting than just "Kiss's prior crush", huh.
Captain's design shines a bit better now that he's less glowing and has even further sunken narrowed eyes, normally I don't find that attractive (it's neutral?). He's not like, on the level of the main characters, but his distinct look works better now that he's more than a boy scout. And the scar goes from minor quirk to "who hurt that poor (rich) boy?"
Running off from home + the kind of story this is + bringing Kiss along + high comfort level with junior girls that seems to lack awareness some may catch feelings ... I think captain is gay. Prepare the party poppers just in case.
