Qbara Qbara's backstory felt a bit flimsy and rushed. Her backstory was more complicated (parricide and suicide), so it really needed more elaboration on her and her parents' motivations, and their relationship, to better-explain "the true nature [she]'d been born with".

I think the problem was cramming backstories for Mimi, Shy, and Qbara Qbara, all into a single arc. I felt Mimi's and Shy's parts were good, but Qbara Qbara's part seems to have suffered a bit as a result.

At least one other than Shine/Stigma did reach adulthood, just that Stigma's powers regress them to a child-like state. Pepesha's mom who was the ice one. Can't say about water-love girl, as we didn't get much on her backstory, but there's still dragon-boy left to show. (I'm bad with names)

I don't remember if we ever got a concrete age, but we know she wasn't extremely young when Teru was born, then died when Teru was in middle school. That's a big time gap. At the youngest she'd be late high-school in my estimations, and that's close enough.
