It's time for our boy to rise to nobility
Oh, no problem. Allen is on the right track for that. Partly because, at least, he knows how to handle an embroided hadkerchief offered by a lady.

Meanwhile, I just recalled the beginning of chapter 17, when prince Karl Heinz disdained the same handkerchief that Anastasia handed him to clean his wounds. Nah, instead he went for Amy's low-tier healing magic.
And in the end, who will get the First Prize, and the Girl? Not him.

Bottom line and PSA : don't be a Karl Heinz. Ever.

Apologizes for the very belated input. But the thought only hit me last night after my last meditation beer :aquadrink:

Honestly I saw that mouth grab as pretty gentle. Also I've realized reading the comments that I'm probably apparently in the minority for… forgive me for this… seeing her shut him up a little forcibly and with a mildly embarrassed expression made me far more excited than anything else, it didn't even register as rude. If anything it struck me as more funny/playful between two people who are close.
But seeing no one else be down bad over that moment in the comments really slaps me with the reality of how much of an M I can be…

I think the Duke was actually telling Allen to stay close to his daughter, because he sees the value he can bring to the kingdom. At worst, he could be a knight or advisor (or her concubine), but if they got closer I bet he wouldn't mind allowing Allen to marry her.
And since the Duke has a claim to the throne, worst case scenario, MC could help the duke become king... Then MC could be the next king.
