this is peak romance manga and ibuki has less chance of winning the next art competition because shinohara now has the heartbreak powering her art

Well, that got resolved as neatly as could be expected.

I feel bad for Shinohara (especially after finding out how much Ibuki had inadvertently helped her out), but I'm relieved she didn't try anything weird. Also, that handshake with Kyoko. 🥲

Also, I just gotta bring this up... Is author-san ever going to swing the spotlight over to Taki and Himari? Even for just a bit? Or are they really just slated to be wingfriends and nothing more?

That’s why this is one of the best rom coms going. There are real conflicts, just like in real life, but they get resolved quickly, and don’t get dragged out because it’s a manga. Win win, we get character development from conflict, while also not having to suffer through bullshit as readers
