@kleoclie I can confirm. reading the raw jp text. The translation on the serialized version is accurate.

Imo contextually it does seem like Kanade is talking about feelings for Aki specifically though. Both from Aki's reaction and the fact that Tamotsu then asks if he's dating anyone rn which is a slightly weird follow up if Kanade was implying that he's never romantically liked anyone.

Regardless, I do think that it's very cute and a little subversive assuming that Aki is the one that has the bigger crush while Kanade is still working their feelings out. I think it very subtly comes across in how they act towards each other if you reread it, Aki's feelings of wanting to take care of Kanade and Kanade more so feeling respect and admiration rather than romance. And should mean pegging is still on the table if Aki's going to be the assertive one 👀

He could be ace, tho that doesn't stop ppl from being in relationships but there is a romance tag so i assume they'll be a couple in one form or another versus some kinda rejection b/c that'd just make the audience turn on them But I'd think it'd be nice if more ppl can bond over fashion and stuff
