Also, my impression to MC change from, "oh nice, he is smart and logical person." to "just don't think and answer yes damn."

It feels like both of them are right, but also doesn't.

I just don't feel any chemistry between them, [???] or not. She's more of annoying force of nature, her knights were mostly annoying fillers, only her on point observations (like with Maria) were good, catching Sieg acting a fake life.
That said stopping the whole Saintess rebirth ceremony would be incredibly stupid, he has much more important objective - return to the sister and cure her. Or maybe even bring her here where magic could cure her. The possibilities are there, as long as the legend is true and the labirynth will grant his wish without twisting it.

There's all kinds of love. Sieg never showed Eros for Lastiara but he has shown Philia and maybe even Storge on some level. Rather than romantic intentions, it's closer to Kazuma-Aqua's dynamic but Lastiara isn't a near useless piece of shit that needs to be carried and drains your coffers.

Haha... wow when I remember what I first wrote about Lastiara...
His first encounter, His first ?love?, his favorite partner, the longest arc, the trope* of Maria describing her traits and MC realizing something about it, every character cares for her, she is everything... and now she is under threat of becoming nothing, how poetic.

The author is obsessed with Lastiara and it's amazing to see.


*reminds me of Nisekoi, the chosen girl, no one has a chance, because she is the chosen one.

Sadly not perfectly a year ago, but close enough:

Lastiara is nothing more than the author's Mary Sue story device.

Godlike knowledge while pretending to be silly.
As someone already mentioned: no filter and therefore resulting in pushing conflict (which most people think is how story progresses), not to mention her status as the ultra princess which again is also a story device.

Her funny antics aside, which I have no problem with since comedy is my favorite genre, all I see in her dialog is: author's will.

Not very subtle and very distracting sadly.

I never like when manga or anime going through this 'open up feeling' or 'confirming feeling'. It just annoying. Why Japs really like this kind of thing geez~~~. If she wants get erased, just be done with it. The MC seems to forget he has more pressing matter to attend to instead of chasing some feeling.

Yeah, it's still subtle, but the reason is just simple though. MC is just a kind person, his sister said so, Maria said so (chapter 31). In the first place, his goal is "to save someone who is close to him." This chapter just confirms that Lastiara has already become somewhat close to him.

Instead, I think his fault in this matter is that he really should open up more, maybe say to Lastiara that she is as important as his sister. He should sort out his feelings and conclude that he should save both his sister and Lastiara, as they are truly close to him. But skill ??? interfering lmao.
