The most hilarious part is the "bullying" one, it seems being an arse is a privilege and nobody can disagree or make fun of whatever non-sense spouted. Imagine I went to every action shounen series and spammed "violence is bad, boys should talk things out and make peace by kissing!", then I felt offended because people treat me like a weirdo. If you genuinely think we're harassing you somehow... what you need is not cool dragons, but a psycologist.
Returning to the topic, "boys should date boys and girls should date girls".

Wrong, i've discover some good mangas like that because of this, and i intend to read some light novels because of that (BTW, where the maria-sama ga mite iru novel is avalable ?). So it's not better to have nothing instead of something that works as intended. And if it stick and is renewed for a second season, it's even better.

So it's not better to have nothing instead of something that works as intended. And if it stick and is renewed for a second season, it's even better.

IDK it's just false hope. I wish that they went all the way since there's too many novels that start off ass but become better or rather had an obligation to. Maybe I'm just salty about the hitori bocchi shit but sometimes there is no effort done in some "adaptations".

Date A Live's manga adaptation got axed but got saved by the animu to get to a decent conclusion in spite of the mid quality of seasons 2-3. I will never forgive the Japanese for making a bad adaptation of "Reborn into a world of chastity reversal" cause the worldbuilding and relations are actually good so now the representative for the reverse world shit is fucking 1:39 (not bad but it's inherently more comedic).

Nah DAL isn't trash but it's not like a masterpiece (ridiculous powercreep via the introduction of more and more hax, the constant use of Kurumi's time travel to bail out of sticky situations from powercreep happening too fast, and Shido kind of being a pussy until later in the story) but the character writing is pretty good

Just a lot of thought and unpopular opinions... really

1. Reading a manga (not hentai) where plot focal point is segs often sucks. There are some good one where the mangaka tries to balance it with a lot of lore but it often become an unreadable mess.

2. Ecchi romantic comedy manga peaked in 2018

3. When a reader start to read a horrible ongoing manga or when the manga became horrible, they are still able to finish it with the "i want to read the ending" argument (and a gazillion complain on the comments).
So, here is a non-exhaustive list of ongoing manga that i think sucks but i pretend that they don't so i can read them until the end:

• Aitsu no Kanojo
• Tokimori-san is defenseless
• Hajimete No Gal
• Oyasumi Fumi-san
• Pretty much all dungeons fantasy or isekai dungeons ongoing manga

4. Shizuku from Aitsu no Kanojo is probably the worst FeMC i ever witnessed to see. How can you say that you love Riku to Takt even though you and Takt are dating. Damn...

5. Manga has now just became a marketing medium for light-lovel publishers. It already the case before but after 2020, we got a explosion of ligh-novel adaptations in the manga space, but unlike the older ones where it is a fraction of the light novel, it's seems like they are now adapting the whole series (if there are a big enough audience). There are some exceptions though.
