It would be pretty embarrassing for the watch to start bleeping right in the middle of the class, especially if it's a strict teacher. And then 10 minutes later again, even if the teacher accepted his apology for the first offense. I suppose it's possible he was so sleep-deprived he took it by accident, but now he kept talking about it with his friend, so it would have been the high time to take the battery out, to make sure it doesn't cause an incident. With his super strength, I doubt he would have needed any tools to take the back cover off.

I do hope this doesn’t go down the Spiritualist/Onmyoji system like that other ‘Not-really-an-Isekai’ Isekai. Was never a fan of the Onmyoji magic system, even in Nioh 2 I avoided Onmyoji magic as much as possible.

I don't know why people think say no is a good thing. IMO, he agree with helping her would be more beneficial.

He know nothing about how the world of people with super power work, he need to understand that world right now to fit in. His power will be exposed sooner or later, knowing how the shadow world run is beneficial for him.

She ask for his help and didn't seem like a bad person ( he also have the appraisal skill too, just in case ), he is also strong enough to atleast protect himself right now.

It's time for him to know about the world and she just happen to appear at the right moment, a good relationship with someone from the shadow world is a better choice than just say no because "muh I'm a cool guy who is not swayed by any situation " lol.

Because it's cliché and boring... it's not about being "good" or "cool"... it's because pretty much all you said is already in countless other manga.

Yeah, plus on top of everything, since that one demon seemed easy enough, hunting more would be an easy way to farm XP.
