A nice epilogue. Marin's face is maturing, becoming more elegant and refined. Her cosplay had helped her create expressions with her face that fit the different characters, and she uses that to good effect in her profession.

Huh, so the author decided to go with the classic time skip in the final chapter. Overall, the story had a great beginning, but it definitely lost some steam in the middle-to-late sections, making them feel pretty underwhelming. As for the ending, it wasn’t great, it wasn’t terrible— it just feels very abrupt.

A traditional Japanese wedding! Marin calling her boyfriend and now husband, Wakana-kun! Married adult romance (for one chapter only...)! Adult Marin with the wedding ring on page 7! Adult Wakana with his wedding ring on page 13!

From "just started dating" straight to "young married couple" - boy, this romance rocketed straight to the moon. Too bad no kids for them (yet?), but it feels good to know these highschool sweethearts ended up together and are still going strong. Marin's love for Wakana sure is rock-solid, hope she's still a gyaru even after becoming an adult. Adult gyarus are a rare treasure...

I really like this time skip ending. Do I want more from before this? Sure, but I'll take what I can get. This has been running for seven years, huh. Now I doubt the possibility of a sequel since sensei might want to move on, but if one is possible, they'd have to start it as adults, and maybe feature their possible kid as a main character of their own romcom. Or a family doing cosplay as a hobby, that might work too.

Anyway, I really hope the anime season 2 can reach this point and have an ending. Finally over, it was nice while it lasted.

imo a 6.5/10 series
above average because there were a lot of cute moments + I enjoyed learning about cosplay
but there were too many arcs and characters that the author failed to make me care about + we didn't get enough of gojo and marin post-confession

Thanks translators for staying with it till the end! Came here after reading epilogue, which is certainly better than this last chapter (for the most part). Overall, it's an ending, everything is done "as it should be", to a T. Both main points people discuss in comments are valid.
A. It's a cosplay manga first and foremost - thats true, author stated it many times, it's main focus. But it got traction due to a pretty female lead and great anime adaptation.
B. Romance went downhill practially right after what was adapted in 1st season of anime, barely existed as subplot, not even talking about scenes together. I was one of few people that defended Haliel arc, as a really well explained bain of perfectionist, but did it paid off? Nope, in the end both crows got barely anything.
Guessing anime only folks won't even see end in season 2. Well, hopefuly anime will be great anyway.
Congratulation to author for making it a decent happy end, not all mangakas managing to do even that.
