in his point of view, it really looks MC scamming of being Spirit user when he using hammer instead of spirit power. if MC did like sylphy did in this chapter, it make more believable that he is a real deal.

Yeah, they went to the city like chapter 30 or something. The bringing nature back to the death lands is more of a thing that is needed to do for the world, but there are several countries still.

To this (latest chapter 76)

I can tolerate the author/artist overusing and overselling the chibi moment so much and reduced art quality to more common art we got today for consistency sake but why in the world did they reset Sylphy look?

And if you reread this from chapter 1 till now 76, you can actually notice her chest slowly get reduced over chapters with each appearance in progress too!

so much she pretty much lose her chest, they werent even that big in first place
anyone read WN/LN can explain or this is just manga thing only?

uh as far asi know its not like the WN had any illustrations so her chest been nerfed cant rly be seen so from what i recall reading WN no explanation there

Now the only question is what’s the guild gonna think. I’d hope that they’d finally realize that MC is in fact, a crazy strong spirit mage but given their behavior so far, I think it’s more likely they’ll assume that he just played some trick on them, and shot at them with magic from afar. Heck, they might even accuse him of trying to frame the kidnappers

So long story short. Mc went to town to become an adventurer and get supplies, but everyone dissed him because the only actually strong spirit mages are employed by royalty so some adventurers (including Carl) challenged him to a duel. He planned to open up with his hammer and then whip out spirit magic, but they immediately surrendered and then accused him of scamming them, by claiming to be a spirit mage when he was actually a fighter. Now the entire guild hates him and thinks he’s a scammer so he adopted a bunch of kids who had the potential for spirit magic, to improve people’s opinion of the craft.

Far as anyone's been able to tell in the past, it's just the artist deciding to overemphasize the difference between Sylphy and Dyne, the water spirit, because you'll notice Sylphy didn't really start shrinking until after the boob spirit that is Dyne was introduced.
