There are video on YT that show clearly, that at sea level, because it at sea level that you have to do the test and with a precision laser device (aka at fixed height), you can go beyond the so called "curvature", of course is you go more height over the sea level you can see more wider but is not how you test it and even so should be impossible to see beyond a certain point, but with a zoom you can. But again is not the place to discuss about this, i do not want to convince anyone, and my initial comment was about human eye, perspective and fake news in fictions, i still think these things shouldn't be in comics, expecially fantasy comics with magic as a baseline lore. The reason why they couldnt see the island at the sea level is because it was hidden by the horizon because its relative flat, with elevation they could because of perspective as well the horizon line being moved further back. Its the same as looking at a sheet of paper looking at it strait and then move the eyes up.
I was hoping I somehow misread what the guy was saying 😅the flat earther in this comment section is probably just rage bating (or maybe i still have a bit too much hope in humanity and common sense)

The classic combo 'I've seen this on YouTube' + 'I don't want to argue' (after arguing from page one) to avoid looking at certain messages. That's the title of an isekai series, mark my words.Bro just wants to survive but for some reason his chastity is in danger
I stopped read here, chatgpt is full of shit and fake informations. AI is fake, is just humans who put the info they want into an algoritm. You know, I asked ChatGPT
These are scientific proof and evidence made with a laser device, the human eye is made in a way that have a limited field of view. Is real science, empirical. Author know nothing about it, he probably copied some info from fake ai chatgpt or the publisher told him.The classic combo 'I've seen this on YouTube' + 'I don't want to argue' (after arguing from page one) to avoid looking at certain messages.
My favorite is him saying real science is “politics” and “fake news” that shouldn’t be in manga. That one got a kick out of meThe classic combo 'I've seen this on YouTube' + 'I don't want to argue' (after arguing from page one) to avoid looking at certain messages.
Bro just drop it. You're the one who brought it up in the first place, and calling the author "spreading propaganda/fake news" when the author is not here to defend himself from your nonsense is the real reason that's making everyone here angry at you. These are scientific proof and evidence made with a laser device, the human eye is made in a way that have a limited field of view. Right, this is a work of fiction so i do not have issues at all, i'm against any form of censorship in the good and the bad, i just point out a trend i see often lately even when is not needed at all, but is my personal opinion, you can ignore it, nothing will change at all in the end, author will do whatever he want, you know better than me.Bro just drop it. Whatever you believe what the facts are (even if they're extremely wrong, my dad was a pilot), the way you're doing it right now is NOT helping your case.
Well the AI is right this time. Light refracting in the atmoshphere is a well known fact. It's why sunsets appear to linger at the horizon, when in fact the sun will already be below it.These are scientific proof and evidence made with a laser device, the human eye is made in a way that have a limited field of view. There are a lot of scientific videos disproving laser theories, maybe you should check that out. With an open mind i mean, you don't need to take it as political propaganda it's just science fact.Right, this is a work of fiction so i do not have issues at all, i'm against any form of censorship in the good and the bad, i just point out a trend i see often lately even when is not needed at all, but is my personal opinion, you can ignore it, nothing will change at all in the end, author will do whatever he want, you know better than me.
idk why these black boxes keep showing up when there's nothing to censor underneath them

ngl this kind of manga terrorism usually gets an automatic 1-star rating from me, but maybe it'll turn out to be one of those inexplicable late bloomer series like Tales of Wedding Rings where several books in it's suddenly just "oh yeah we never had to steamcensor anything in the first place, did we"
