I am of course aware of the history and the modern problem. It's why people from cultures where it is seen as a horrific act write it so often that the 'hero' is perfectly fine with buying people. I could understand if it existed as an established practise the hero couldn't change in that world/time but they still viewed it as abhorrent, the whole "slavery is normal here? Guess I'll buy some people" is what puzzles me from a modern person recently isekai'd in.
'hero'? You know the protagonist is not a hero right? Also you realize that her body has been made in a way that the protagonist doesn't get disgusted by cruelty right? Is has been hinted many times. Why do you (and a few others) even complain about slavery in fiction? If you think it's a problem, then also go complain about killing and guns in fiction. I don't get those dumb double standards...

When I said 'hero', I was just generally refer to any MC of a manga, whether they're truly heroic or not that's the usually the role they're written in. As stated, my confusion with the regular slavery thing (meaning, not specifically this manga) is how someone who's supposed to be from (near enough) our world with modern values is fine with it.

And I've no complaints about killing, we're all fine with killing if the situation calls for it. That's what armies are for in the real world, sometimes there's no way round it here or if you're suddenly up against the demon lord's army. If the MC was going around killing random people, yes, I'd view that as bad but I wouldn't be reading a manga with a MC like that.

In this manga, on the first chapter the god massacred a whole kingdom using the mc's body, and the mc basically did not care. so technically you are reading one like that... But any way, i believe if most people from the modern world got transported into a world like that, they would probably buy slaves if it is legal and it would solve their problems. It's simple, if people cared about those values, then there wouldn't be that many people buying cheep things made with cheep labour (and child labour).

I've only read up to tye point where she says "beautiful feet"...
I don't know if there's some sad reason behind it,
But why?
Does she have a feet fetish?
If so, it's fricking disgusting.

So I should be buying basically nothing, with 5 months of constant investigation of source, and effectively pay over 50 times the price to get the item? Because that would mean a simple torch or fan would take a whole year to afford, and a car or computer? Forget about it, I'd be lucky to afford it this lifetime... Just because someone buts things made within a system, or follows the laws made for a specific system, doesn't mean they support it. For example: you could be against capitalism and yet still buy things in shops and everything, since there isn't really another option If you live in a capitalistic country.

You completely lost the plot... First of all computer components are not made by cheap labour or anything like that, they are made by machines, and it is impossible for humans to make them. Cars are also made by machines.

I was talking about most people would be buying slaves in an isekai because it's the easy way out, since most people don't actually care about ethics. So basically you are agreeing with me? Because of the example you gave me could go both ways (even if you are against slavery, you would buy slaves because they is legal slavery in that country.)
