I could see that could happens, still it would be sad tho, we might need to add drama tag if that's really what's going on. I personally wanted to the series to go into wholesome tone, but i don't mind adding more depth into the story if that's what author wants. It still sad tho...

I still had hope that it's not the case tho, i mean the whole premises is basically misunderstanding. The author takes so much time to lead us to believe that Luna is some slut and all, so i think that i would go into different direction. But i got to admit, your speculation is make sense and line up with all the plot point so far. Here's coping i guess

As for this new development: gonna be a confusing nothing burger I bet. She probably knows him as a kid she tutored or the brother of a friend from work or school or whatever.

Over the past few chapters I’ve been thinking she is not sexually active or a “slut” because if she was, then when they were at the hotel she probably would have gone further disregarding what he is to her. If she wanted it she would take it. What’s she has been doing that he hears the noises, though, is still a mystery.

When she said "I can't give Luna to him" I don't know how else to read into that other than she can't give him her chastity. This makes the inevitable bait and switch all the more ridiculous, at this point you can't explain all these things away without getting totally idiotic.
