LOL, holy shit, I had to stop mid-way reading because that was so good, like a soap opera. Lapis is BAWLING, begging Natori to stop serving her for her safety. She pushes Natori down, hand on throat, dramatically asks her if she can kill anyone. Natori then essentially states that she is important enough to Lapis to prevent her from going on a remorseless killing spree, changing destiny because she really has that dawg in her. I thought I was familiar with your game, Nekotaru. MY BAD. Holy fuck Nekotaru can make dead people giggle

I think this isn't too big of a problem (yet) because Natori's position of a summoned familiar, essentially a servant, allows her to stay quiet about important things most of the time. I feel it's not that she's completely forgotten her prediction 'ability' but that there hasn't really been a situation where she's needed to mention anything about the 'future'

Haven't read anything of the raws yet so I can't say if this is actually true, but there definitely are still some plot points Natori can 'predict' with reasonable accuracy (especially regarding Lapis' plans)

So, then indeed this isn't Lapis but Aurora pretending to be Lapis. Funny how this happens in the following chapter, after I discussed the viability of this theory elsewhere. I'll eat my words and admit I was wrong by dismissing ht idea entirely, but I still think this is a dumb direction to take the story and one that is at odds with the entire setting, essentially putting us back to square one. I think that Nekotarou is a good enough writer to deliver a satisfactory story, but right now, I'm not pleased with this.
