thats the thing isnt it, diana doesnt know. we as the reader know lapis are changing and just put up the noble facade, but on diana's perspective she sees natori basically treated as a toolThing is, while she isn't aware, we already saw Lapis changing (compared to the story supposed to happen) thanks to Natori
Not at all. The prize is an opportunity to reveal her feelings. Besides, Natori is an object by their laws. Don't forget she's considered to be a summoned spirit and not a humanSomeone finally said it, she sees Natori as a prize to win, that's just wrong.
Thank you for your work!
I was saying it mainly because the previous message implies Lapis won't changethats the thing isnt it, diana doesnt know. we as the reader know lapis are changing and just put up the noble facade, but on diana's perspective she sees natori basically treated as a tool
Giving her Natori as the prize for winning first place isn't the "opportunity to reveal her feelings"Not at all. The prize is an opportunity to reveal her feelings. Besides, Natori is an object by their laws. Don't forget she's considered to be a summoned spirit and not a human
not quite so actually, altho yes familiar are usually non humans, Natori has been recognized as one even back on her 1st contract (the ring) in chpt 1(pretty sure magically binding her as one to Lapis) and also, when Lapis brought her to school she was to stay with the other familiars(tho that must had been just for technicalities, but on that same note gran also considers her one) but i think most importantly, Natori is seen as a commoner and so is seem as Lapis' property by other nobles. by both contracts(as a secretary and as a familiar) she's is owned by LapisI was saying it mainly because the previous message implies Lapis won't change
Giving her Natori as the prize for winning first place isn't the "opportunity to reveal her feelings"
edit: lemme rephrase that, familiars and pets are normally magical beings and/or animals, so this rule of property hardly applies to a human in this universe, as far as i understand it
I do agree with this takenot quite so actually, altho yes familiar are usually non humans, Natori has been recognized as one even back on her 1st contract (the ring) in chpt 1(pretty sure magically binding her as one to Lapis) and also, when Lapis brought her to school she was to stay with the other familiars(tho that must had been just for technicalities, but on that same note gran also considers her one) but i think most importantly, Natori is seen as a commoner and so is seem as Lapis' property by other nobles. by both contracts(as a secretary and as a familiar) she's is owned by Lapis
i wouldn't go so far as to say people(Lapis, diana, gran, other commoners, etc) considers her an object, but she's def being considered as an asset
