I generally like this series because the main character is a good guy. The main issue I take with the premise is him being some sort of special animal lover and all the guild guys being obnoxiously heartless. It's super dumb considering dragons take the place of horses in this society and everyone who rides horses respects them, because they genuinely like animals and the animals can weigh a ton and will let you know if they're unhappy.

Think about it. They're knights who have to rely on and trust dragons. A better premise would've been he's a newbie with his special dragon speech ability and nobody will give him a shot. Something like "I'm the only one who can talk to dragons" would be better than "got kicked out of the dragon guild for respecting dragons too much." Putting the guild aside, it's a good series.

If this series turns into furry dragon harem I'm giving it a 1/10. No mercy.

God, the MC is boring. There’s no real drive - he just happens into everything - and character development is only hinted at or happens between panels. It sucks cuz there’s a lot here that could be fun, but the story is such a drag.

Then in volume 14, MC takes on a mission that has "Are you fucking kidding me?" level of logic.
And at some point you start to wonder... Isn't this kind of like a harem? But with dragons?

My main problem with this story is how incredibly bs the setup is. There is absolutely NO way whatsoever that most dragon knights would be abusive to their dragons. They are essentially an equivalent to horses for Knights, just that they are even more important to them than horses were. No way, most of them are treating them badly.
