Seriously? We are reaching the end really? How many chaps are left? we are near the end IIRC... this is in the final vol of the novel right?
After this story concludes, there's a Gaiden novel, detailing life in the special area after the gate closed. This will be followed by Gate 2 novel, which tells the story after the gate reopened. However, it's unclear whether Gaiden and Gate 2 will be adapted into manga.Man... I hope the manga doesn't just... stop, sure... the gate was closed, but with the right tweaks, there is a whole arc about the effort to reopen it, and maybe even other things, Zorzal will lose but there sure are some other things... maybe explore what the gods are in this whole setting.
Just to be sure... did the bug invasion happen in the novel?
Yep, that's the spin-off, so it's pretty much guaranteed that the main story will not get an anime conclusion due to how much it's sucking the JSDF's figurative dick, also that they made China the primary antagonist for this arc. Not a good thing to promote in peace-loving Japan, especially with tensions with China and the Koreas getting higher.all I know is that there will be a "Season 2", and somehow, a gate will be re-opened, but with Japanese Navy primarily going through.
Spin-off? With the way China shits on Japan every chance they get (to the point of freaking teaching kids in the schools to hate then), it would be refreshing to see the opposite, for once.Yep, that's the spin-off, so it's pretty much guaranteed that the main story will not get an anime conclusion due to how much it's sucking the JSDF's figurative dick, also that they made China the primary antagonist for this arc. Decimatio is never a thing a commander should order lightly.Seems like Zorzal was dumb enough to ensure his legions' loss. (At least in my opinion.)
What he ordered (and got depicted on page 41) was a decimation. That's why the returning commander ask about signs of rebellion among the soldiers. I hope this unwarranted punishment will bite Zorzal in the ass big time.
