I have never related to a romcom protagonist like I have with Mira in this moment.
Her ability to go from the "outside -> in" and articulate the subtext of why it's so nerve-wracking for characters who are attracted to one another to initiate physical contact/intimacy is as refreshing as it is adorable in this moment.
What a vehicle of a character for deconstructing the trope of anxiety around similar situations across the genre.
