So I reread the entire thing and…yeah, this could have been really cool if it continued for a while. The monster designs were pretty uninspired and the action sequences were static, but the characters and the plot points (like the hero’s flaws and neglect, demon refugees vs the church’s cleansing mission, etc) were REALLY going to be great if given the real estate to develop and expand over time.

I did love the character designs of the main people Lobelia had interacted with so far. The main heroine, the knight girl at the beginning, and the demon blacksmith girl were quite nice.
