I defended it last chapter thinking she knew something in which case yes listen to your precog, but she was just being a idiot. I don't fault them for trusting her judgment, but she needs to learn how her own power works, visions can be avoided, she knows this.

"Listen to your precog" is good and all, but I'm something of a precog myself, so I managed to see the stupid plot development coming immediately lol. From an in-universe perspective, sure, it might be a worthwhile idea, but we know how stupid Amako can be about these things. Something similar happened back with the zombie dragon... So, honestly, the gang should also be picking up on that, not just the readers. She's just generally too pessimistic, not only suddenly here and now for plot convenience.

Evil-McBeardguy having stolen powers helps a tad, but I can't help but be frustrated after seeing our MC win the last fight. This is that power issue so many manga suffer from where we see our heroes do something literally epic, and the next antagonist is just some dude.

While I'm not as frustrated as others, this does kinda take the wind out of the story for me some. Amako is either being manipulated, being an idiot, or (please be this one) playing the long con... While I want this to be her time to shine, I got a bad feeling it is time for the old "self sacrificing maiden" routine.

Does the boss even have the powers? This Manga hasn't shown any instance yet that he does and even showed him to be surprised at the demons actions.

Either this is bad writing or this whole arc is just one big fat red Herring.

Tbh, if Amako can use precognition and Jinya stole precognition from Kanako, there's a chance that he's just reading the future every moment he can spare when it seems like Amako is doing it since as far as we can tell, Kanako is still paying the price for precognition and not Jinya. But this also means that the moment Jinya dies will probably either end with Kanako getting her mana back and waking from her coma, or it could be gone forever and she just stays a vegetable (though given how this series is, I doubt Kanako is staying a vegetable).

That all being said, Usato is the guy who fought a person who was in the middle of draconification and still survived while tanking most of the hits, so there was a strong chance that Jinya wouldn't have the ability to keep up with Usato's power or movements. But pessimistic gotta pessimistic, so we're probably not leaving this arc for another 2 real life years at minimum.

The current situation is so much fucking worse. Sure, they will still inevitably get out of it just fine, but they would fucking do it way way easier if they didn't decide to give up for no reason.

And if they fought several of them would be dead or all of them if they couldn't get away. That sounds a lot worse than being captured

True. But I would've thought that newer readers who blitz through everything before rating it could rate it lower.

Slow pacing feels completely different if you blitz through it. Some series are complete ass if you follow each update, but work well if you read them all at once.

Seems like everyone has their own precognition and tried to find their own best way.
There are too many ideas here, Jinya's, Amako's, Demons', and Usato's. Even though the problem looks simple (Usato can just go rampage and things got solved fast), seems like everyone tried to play mindgames.
This arc will be very annoying and confusing

I'm not too annoyed about this arc, but I do hope they touch upon the feelings of Usato and Nea again to justify the 'Romance' section of this manga.

I think the new demon guy is cool. Would be nice to see him and Usato fight seriously.

First off, they're still being told that they will die in this situation, after doing that immaculate strategic play and giving up. And secondly, do you just forget the title of the manga and the fact that they have a healer? Not to mention how they're perfectly capable of defending against arrows, not just tanking them and hoping for heals.
