i readed it on paper beforehand and i have to say , its sad that there is no continuation , its a good read

Funny thing... I think this ended up axed because it did a really good job of leaning in its cynical view of its world, kinda ironic.

I fully think that even with the axe... this was the end planned by the author.

But funny enough, I do feel a hint of hope behind all the cynicism.

My only true complaint is that we didn't get to know what happened to Pelie, she really drew the short stick, a superior that couldn't give less than a shit about her, and stuck with a creep that had a title that made my skin crawl, and to top it off... the last image we had of her was... well, I really hope the creep died and she recovered

Randomly remembered a plot I've read years ago... Found what it was and decided to give it a second shot.

I can see this manga performing better now than it did 7 years ago, would probably be more appreciated, especially the cynicism of it all.

Still a good read though

That was disappointing. Would have been nice if it ended with the higher ups getting guillotined for running such a fucked up system

Axe aside. I think it's OK to think of this story as the story of a side character, for example, this could have been all about the story of that guy that died by the snake biting his butt. Even if was we read wasn't the story about the real mc thar killed the demon, it was pretty interesting.

Though a shame that the world was quite Intresting, but it never gave any answer of what the flowers meant, what the layers meant, and what the demon meant. But you can make guesses, it was maybe a system, for preventing something worse for example.
