I agree with all the rest but this one is unfair IMO.

Saying that she should have went there and checked if the region was safe would be like if she treated him like a child or at least not even an adventurer able to gather herbs by himself. Was she also supposed to gather the herbs and left them in a neat gift package for him?
Like you said, the Guild knew that there was a dragon that recently settled in the area. The Guild should have put a giant notice on the board saying that people should avoid this region until the dragon had been taken care of or left. I 100% put the blame on the Guild for not making the info public, not on Sacha for not guessing that a region that used to be safe had suddenly become dangerous.
I disagree. Haise was D-Rank at this time, had no access to his blessing and was shown impulsive on their last quest. Sending him there was irresponsible even if the Dragon was not there or even a lower rank monster was at its place instead.

The fact that Haise was actually doing well on his own for two months and came back one eye less a day later due to her advice proves she messed up badly.

And Sasha had kept an eye on him during this year. He has been gathering herbs the whole time. She was aware of what Haise could and couldn't do more than anyone. She wouldn't have send him there if she thought it was something he couldn't handle. She didn't whish for him to get harmed.

My point still stands. The Guild should have made the information about the dragon public. This way Sasha would not have send Haise there or Haise could have known that there was a danger there.

Still an irresponsible suggestion from an A-Rank adventurer leader towards a weak impulsive D-Rank adventurer that can't use his blessing and is working alone.

Story will show the actual abuse Hyce endured at the hand of this bitch (and the lesbian saint) later on. The kicking part is not even the worst of it.
Spoilers please. I am to lazy to go try to find out stuff in the WN like I did early on - mostly cause what I found out early on made me like be 90% ready to drop this stupid story. Especially when I read about the clan teams and stuff. Like Sasha team created clan and invited like IIRC up to 800 teams at one point, just to train them from scratch where most of them were weaker than MC was when they kicked him out. She pondered if it wouldn't be better if they kept MC and trained him like those teams and the lesbo-bitch and SIMP-hole told her that its not true, that their team/clan became complete only after kicking MC out of it - and the retarded girl actually admitted to it being true - while she and MC created that team based on their mutual dream.

Also MC at some point gets a disciple - girl with same sword mastery IIRC like Sasha, and she begs MC to train her, he accepts it - and what Sasha does? She basically tries to force the girl to leave MC and join their clan. Literally every single chapter of WN I spilered myself with shows Sasha as some kinda brain less idiot who can't understand other humans feelings and who does shit selfishly all the damn time, not even bothering to wonder why MC was so angry with her and stuff. Its just hard to like this story cause of this.

Supposedly at one of dungeons there are special rooms that only one person can enter, so like team of 7 people cause 7 doors goes there. Sasha in hers is confronted by fake MC - that supposedly shows her things to make her realise how big of an asshole she was, how much she hurt MC and stuff. But chapters after that show her without really any change to her behaviour around MC or the 2 SIMP-holes in her clan/team.

Like I once wrote already either here on MD or in YT comments below a recap video - someone needs to write a Robin spin-off - either a fluffy romance or a slice-of-life comedy with that lovably younger-sister vibe fluff-ball - cause that cute nice character is simply lost on this shitty manga/story.

If only Sasha would say "Hey Hyce i'm really sorry it was really a shity thing to kick you out without trying to train you or put you aside from the front lines for a while so we could investigate your skill, or to disregard your feelings about what the promise we made meant to you, i was childish. forgive me".
And Hyce too listened to her without cutting her off for once...

Anyway we all know who is the best girl:

Yeah, no.

Sasha didn't have any of those intentions nor did she really care about protecting him. At the end of the day she and the others considered him to weak to keep adventuring with them, a hindrance, and obstacle. They were nicer about it than many other parties, but still not all that nice.

Their "help" was also shallow, patronizing, and harmful. When bad rumors started spreading about him and people began to treat him badly to take out their frustration over them. None of them cared or did a thing. Their aid was half assed and would've gotten him killed without his power manifesting/becoming usable.

And when he came back, mangled and half dead. They cared so much they immediately set out on another quest straight away. Not even waiting to see if he pulled through much less to apologize.

These people at the end of the day are selfish, callous, uncaring, good weather friends. They're the "they'll be there when they need you" type of people, and arguably way worse than the story is portraying them.

1st para, he will back down even though later he gets forced by sasha, has his dungeon stolen by her, his plans messed up by her, and everyone still supports her, never acknowledging she did anything wrong, everything just goes right for her, and she also never understands she messed up
2nd para, from what i've read, no true heart to heart, when they talk mc silently forgives her, as till this point he had already started doing stuff for her without getting any recognition himself, and the bitch even then has the audacity to tell him, that her decision to banish him was right.

If i made any mistake which could get my hopes up to read the novel or this again, someone please correct me. This seems good but the only gripe I have with this is how much easy Sasha has everything and never faces any consequences for what she has done. Though this likely up till 250-300 chapters, and the WN is at 400+ so idk what happens then or if it gets better, spoilers appreciated.
The issue is, the author seems to think that Sasha is right and didn't do anything wrong. When she's just as bad as villainous party members, just in a different way.

man, i hope they scrap all that bs in the manga.
From chad to simp, what a fucking joke author
Not just simp, doormat. Remember the two people who actively set him up, abused him, etc are still around. She rejects neither of them, they get no comeuppance. They keep all their prestige and power and can keep acting just as they did prior.

I should really stop reading manga, at least Korean authors usually give some pay off.

For ppl sayin they dont mind her or that hes being too harsh, remember, she went a straight 2 years without saying a word to him, and only tried to do so when it was convenient for her to, since they were both in the same place. Also the fact that she most likely wanted to talk to alleviate her own guilty instead of actually showing that she cares, in which she doesn't, otherwise she wouldn't ignore him for 2 WHOLE YEARS.

That dungeon part is contradiction central in terms of writing which was pointed out even in JP comments of the chapter.
She always said "bunishing Hyce was the correct choice" even to his face but for some reason, during that encounter, she all of a sudden becomes super regretful about the whole thing specially when the spirit that took Hyce form showed her the moment of the banishment again. She yells at her past self to stop and "i don't care about the party promotion, just don't baish him!" etc. while in truth, she simply cared more about advancement than Hyce. This is a fact.

She "wins" this encounter by simply going "i will just ignore everything" (like she's been doing till the beginning) , fires up her fighting spirit and beats the fake. She learns nothing, does nothing and just continues as she were. I think it was an attempt by the author to address this weird dynamic between the leads till now but it just falls flat.

Because the author seems to have a hard on for her, she's his favourite Mary Sue. Even when she did something wrong it has to have been someone else's fault. And she wasn't really wrong after all.

Everyone is upset about the novel or something and I’m here just wondering why I feel like I’ve already read this chapter like weeks ago.

Also where is everyone reading the novel at? I get everyone is mad but I’m just curious to read it for myself.

He has been a weak impulsive D-rank adventurer that can't use his blessing and has been gathering herbs for a living for a whole year. He is shown carrying a pack of medicinal herbs when she told him about the place where to find the rare herbs. How is telling him to go someplace that she thinks is safe doing what he does everyday irresponsible?

If he had just been working as a clerk in a shop or in a tavern for a year, then, yeah, telling him to go out in the field doing adventurer's work would be irresponsible. But he has been gathering herbs the whole time. It's not irresponsible to give him a tip abou the kind of jobs he does regularly. Again, she wouldn't have told him to go there if she thought it could be dangerous.

There are enough things to be mad at Sasha, no need to make up more.

oh no a stampede how interesting
And Hyce too listened to her without cutting her off for once...
This is the crucial part, hes just moping around, they arent making any progress because he doesnt want to
Idk why you have to speculate about it, the manga is pretty clear in pointing this out

I read the spoilers and it is helpful to remember that both characters are still 16 years old.
Although I don't want to see Sasha much this early. Like I said in previous chapters, let both party grow big separately then let them meet when we reached chapter 100 or 200.

It was only 2 months. Where did you get an entire year?

Sasha knows that at this point
  • He does not have access to his blessing which puts him at a disadvantage against monsters.
  • He has no party so he will go there alone.
  • He was shown to be impulsive in their last mission and was implied to be in the past.
  • The location is quite far away.
Also, why didn't she confirm it herself with the Guild master before actually giving the information away to Haise?
There are enough things to be mad at Sasha, no need to make up more.
What do you mean? This was Sasha's greatest blunder. Wanting to half-heartedly help Haise by giving out incomplete information made everything worse.

Or are you saying that she has zero accountability on this and it was Haise's fault for getting almost killed by a SS-Rank Dragon?
