Volume 2 is finally out! It came out way earlier than expected, so the vol. 1 sales must've been incredibly good.
It includes a new Omake, ordered right after ch. 8 (all the other Omakes so far didn't appear in the volume releases). It takes place on the Christmas before Ehta gained his powers.
And now to the unpleasant stuff; chapter releases will slow down due to personal reasons. As such, expect the Omake from above to appear ~1 month from now, and ch. 11 ~2 months from now. No promises though!
And in order to end on a good note, here's my favorite panel(s) from this chapter:

Ya know after the escalation in stakes the previous arc had, having an organization of children that can be ambiguously labeled as against the murder psychos has me more than worried. They wont go there, would they?
Also the street kids probably want to mess up the celebration but he'll butt heads over the methods. If it was up to Ehta he'd just show up in the middle of the street declare himself and then run away with the heroes chasing him. However I won't be surprised if some the kids mess it up in a way that intentionally ends up getting innocents involved and not just heroes. Ehta might hate heroes but he hates them for being fake posers and has some misguided hate due to repressed trauma. So he's probably going to end up having to save people during the street kids fuck up.
The more the story progress, the more I am sure that Ehta actually just wants to be heard and not be written off as some orphan to be pitied

is it me or that fanboy kid's neck is unusually long ???
.
.
.
is he that skinny because the last time he ate food, it has expired before it reached his stomach ???
Gotta admit, it really does look unusually long.
Subaru's proportions probably just seem off because of the oversized clothes he wears. (the extra post-chapter-8 illustration mentions the reason behind why he only wears oversized clothing)
