Oh wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww even his "weakness" isn't Super Effective 🙄

Fighting God might be easier in this case I dunno. Nice one author, great idea. An OP villain you can't do anything about is truly a genius addition to any story, especially a harem series. Honestly, way more obnoxious than OP protagonists. Anyway, can you tell I really hate it when LN and manga authors just put "oh, they're invulnerable to physical and/or magical attacks"?

At least Washio had two pages of being cool. Now make that 20 chapters to make up for the lack of coolness/spine, if this series can even survive that long.

ah yes the power of bullshit and friendship or whatever to get out of the shithole the author wrote himself into
also how the fuck did washio break his hair with an attack last chapter when he is just fully invulnerable? guess the answer is just shit writing but man

to think this used to be a decent ecchi manga about monster girls

Idk man, this astral body stuff seems to be made just as an excuse to pardon the dragon girl from her previous blunder where she took 3 business days to kill him. This way, it force us to accept that "well, physical attack is meaningless against him to begin with. So even if she deal with him instantly back then, it will deal no damage anyway"

I think I actually hate this series, the fanservice wasn't enough to distract me from how nonsensical this entire arc has been. Why even make MC first allow all this bullshit and then after reneg on allowing it and then have a convoluted mess of a finale.

Drako really let the villain who she was aware is a villain have enough leeway to have a trump card despite it being all according to keikaku. If they pretend nothing in this arc happened afterwards and reset the setting it might be readable.

Thanks for the TL

This arc is literally cancer. The author really has to completely forget this arc exists for the series to survive, but he has to get out of this arc first before the series fucking dies.

I was going to make a post with comments from the Japanese public, but there’s nothing interesting since criticism of the manga has practically stopped over there. The only noteworthy thing is that there was apparently a typo in Aria’s speech around the middle of page 10 (page 11 here):

Heavenly Sphere
アリアちゃんは何言ってんの
(10ページ)
多分これ修正されるかな
What is Aria-chan even talking about?
(Page 10)
This will probably get edited, I think.

HeavenlySphere
修正されてら
It’s already been edited.

向こうからコチラへの干渉は可能....
とか、そんな事でしょうねぇ.... 誤植にしても酷すぎる...(笑)
Interference from their side to ours is possible...
Or something like that, huh... Even as a typo, it's way too bad... (lol)

Regarding sales of Volume 2, released on 2025-07-09, they are solid. According to Shoseki Ranking data for estimated physical copies sold, approximately 8,050 copies sold in the first week; 4,199 in the second week; 1,820 in the third; and 1,245 in the fourth week. This totals 15,314 copies sold within the first month, nearly double the first volume’s first-month sales of around 8,523 copies.

Also, to somewhat validate the Shoseki Ranking data, @Josu_ke, using ORICON data, almost always posts the weekly list of the top 50 best-selling manga (physical copies) on X. In the first week of sales, Volume 2 ranked 41st with 7,912 copies sold, which closely aligns with the Shoseki Ranking data.

No spoilers for chapter 42 since the manga has been on hiatus for two weeks. Maybe a new chapter will come out on Wednesday, and if it does, I’ll probably post spoilers on Thursday.

Thanks for the chapter!
