that has been the case for basically every chapter after the ones from Machine Humin, shame they apparently went AWOL for so long, also if you wanna whine about sniping, the person that did the previous chapter sniped from the guy that did this one, check the uploader on the last few chapters that were released recently
I'm just thankful we get anything at all being posted over here, especially after the purge caused so many to either ditch MD or quit scanlation entirely

"Sniping" that's what makes me try to quickly do it. It's not the first time that's it's happened. Nor will it be the last.

But why? It's not like only one person's allowed to post the chapter, and generally speaking folks appreciate a scanlator taking the time to properly translate and clean up a chapter rather than forsaking it to try and rush past a sniper.

Especially considering that the snipers themselves often do a piss-poor job and are just pasting subpar MTLs straight to the page with no cleaning/editing/typesetting/etc., which just leaves a sudden nosedive in quality with no alternative available. Not to mention how often the sniper then stops posting after a few chapters and the main TL gets annoyed/bored/burned out/etc. from the nonsense and also drops the manga.

In other words, take your time. Don't feel compelled to race to the bottom by chasing a sniper.

I agree CCC shouldn't try to feel pressured to get the chapters out. Honestly, the whole thing seems silly on the part of the sniper. Did the sniper try to reach out to CCC to try to work together? His group literally says "Just a reader. No team, just me. I will translate and update raw mangas/manhuas available that arent being translated properly". Where was this sniper in the past year and why did he wait till CCC started posting chapters instead of picking up the series months ago?

Valid points. I try my best on every chapter and seeing my progress go down the gutter makes me feel down. I honestly just finished both today and was going to take my time the very next day to fix all the errors on both 43 & 44. Then I noticed Chpt 43 already there. Which I admit annoyed me a bit.

You can still upload your version of 43 if it's better than the one we got, you know. There's no rule against duplicate translations of chapters; that seems to be a common misconception (back when I commissioned chapter 14, I was DM'd by another user who thought the same thing)

if you're taking a break from TL, why do you care if it's sniped?
