I had to look back at the previous chapters to find out the stats of the hero (chapter 34 page 9) and the dragon (chapter 41 page 8 initial stats of the new form, page 18, then chapter 42 page 1 before facing the queen - I'm not sure why but the level stayed the same at 41 while the attack just jumped between chapters - by the end of the fight, page 19 it had leveled up to 57, so even stronger), and indeed the dragon completely crushes the hero in terms of stats. The hero is basically a dead man at this point, unless he somehow finds a way to negotiate his way out, and I can't imagine that happening because he's too dangerous of an existence since he's also linked to "god's voice". I do wonder about the hero's attack and defence stats; I guess it's raw power and then the added damage from being equipped well. The hero might still have some dangerous skills but honestly it's hard to figure out just from the names.

The fight will probably still be difficult because our dragon is going to restrain itself in order to avoid harming the civilians. There is a second head that might have less qualms about the lives of the civilians though so I'm not sure the hero will be outright able to take hostages.

I wonder how cat-girl is doing - she was purified by the hero after all, so if she survives this, she may well live a life with a normal life span. I wonder if she'd stay with them. I think he's no longer emitting the poisonous stuff, right?

Man, it's hard talking about this when our dragon and the hero have the same name. -_-

Chapter 41 page 8, MC still has "Dragon Scale Powder" and it's actually stronger. Maybe at a certain point it becomes controllable?

As for the chapter, It's about time we got that idiot hero being thrown around. The lack of a proper transformation from humanoid to dragon is a little unfortunate, but that spread is great.

Half chapters are how they're published and released. This is pretty typical from publishers.

Skills like that don't go away on their own, so the cursed scales and poison aura are probably stronger in this form, it's too bad there isn't some gluttonous slime around when you need them.

Sadly there isn't really any heavy reason to be so concerned about the civilians. They were mostly there to be entertained by a public execution. They just wanted to see a beastman die. They aren't worthy of too much courtesy. But of course our dragon is too much of a gentleman to accept collateral damage as unavoidable.

I'm not saying they deserve it, just that it may not be helped. More so the so called hero must be stopped. The hero is most certainly not above using human shields. Should Irushia let the hero escape if it means saving one or two civilians who were there to enjoy watching Irushia's friend getting unjustly executed? That's all I'm saying. I'm expecting Irushia isn't ready to accept such casualties, which might give the hero a chance.

Well it doesn't really devolve, it is just that after the hero the fights either don't have as much schadenfreude or are far closer in terms of power. We just don't have anymore "beat downs" against such lovably hatable characters.
