That aside, I'm surprised they'd license onee/shota for American distribution.

Don't you love that 7 Seas just buys the rights to every fucking manga, MTLs it and releases one volume every seven bazillion years?
That's so cool, I sure love that.

I wish I could trust their contractors to just commit the sin of one-pass MTL. Their quality is unpredictably all over the place.

The glorious gits a 7seas butchered Koisuru (Otome) no Tsukurikata, turning a cute BL cross dressing story into a trans story. This absolutely upset the tone of the whole thing and really ticked off the original author. From what I've gathered, that wasnt the first or last shitshow of a localization job they've done.

If they ruin BL manga then not much has been lost
