I'll go against the grain here. Firstly, I don't understand why this series is categorised as shoujo. Is it because the magazine it was published in? It doesn't read like shoujo to me. The romance is underwhelming.
The formula of inserting a random character with a random problem in each chapter, followed by the main character going blindly to help, is so contrived.
Also, the MC remains unchanged and barely faces any conflict.
I realise this is a popular choice with a high rate, so the problem is probably me, but that's my two cents. I can see why people like it; it's just not for me.
