I think people are jumping ship to Olivia way too quickly. Don't forget that others so far mostly had a glimpse of their backstories because we were getting an abridged version from Machino's perspective. Olivia just happens to be the first one that was examined in detail. For all we know, future heroines could have a backstory just as good or if not even better than her.

You've just gotta look at Aurora's handling so far already in where a fair deal of her backstory and character has already been explored and shown to the reader without any great fanfare or drama. We all know she's not winning the Machinobowl.
Luna and Carla are storylines seem to related to Olivia and Machino as well, it's fair assumption that their storylines will revolve about their relationships, and at least and specially so in Carla's case, mending hers with Olivia.

Perhaps we are jumping the gun like you said. We haven't gotten a full dive into other characters side like we did Olivia. What we got was just an abridged version and not a full dive from their side of the story.
Just because we got a tiny bit of info that Luna and Carla are related to Olivia and Machino, doesn't mean they can't expend from it and give them elements that don't revolve around Olivia.

Who knows about that. I mean, of course there's gonna be a first and main girl, someone's gotta be that, and for harems the pick for them is always an obvious one for obvious reasons. Like, if Olivia were the main girl the story would be a fundamentally different one. Characters like her can only work as they do when they're not the main girl.
All that said, there's been more and more non-main girls winning the harems nowadays, and if I were a betting man, I'd be all in on Olivia just from looking at the story's "make" so far.
