It happened with the new film, people who were fans of the animation studio saw it and then became interested and saw the work and came away disappointed. CreoI think the same, I watched the manga for that reason but it seems like the gay relationship is just a lie. The story focuses more on showing us the author's artistic pedophilic tendencies rather than the relationship he himself developed.
