Pages 11 and 12 - I think it's pretty clear that she didn't stab her mom, just that she pulled the knife out of where her mom had stabbed herself with it. With that in mind, the giant "STAB" sound effect on page 12 is seriously misleading. It makes it look like she stabbed her mom! It should have been more like a "SHLUK" sound or something that evokes a knife being pulled out of a gory wound.
