That's not how it works. The base amount of mana you are born with is very much relevant. Mana compression increases your available mana, but only to the extent that you are equal to a noble of one rank higher (laynoble->mednoble, mednoble->archnoble), assuming you give it your all and take a risk. Mana compression if overdone can also be life threatening in itself, which is why they only teach it at age 11-12 in the academy and not earlier. Myne was born with at least archnoble levels of mana, so a laynoble kid would never catch up to her, no matter what they do.

I think that's the guy who says "my niece" in the earlier panel, that would be one of the Rozemarys (Karsteds third wife who Rozamyne is supposed child off) family members.
I think you can see Bonifatius in the baptism standing in the front row though.

Pretty sure we have no indication what the Leidenschaft song is, only that it is an anime song.
The one song we know about is the one Ferdinand turned into a love song dedicated to Geduldh, that one was Anpanman March. The person who told you that on reddit might have confused the Geduldh and Leidenschaft songs, I think.
