Author-san really shit the bed with the last couple arcs. Its like this story has no real direction, while going in like 5 directions at once.
The writing has also got really sloppy, there's simply too many characters.

I think the author is compensating for the other arcs. With how long both the tournament and the Oder arcs were, maybe he tried to make this arc resolve faster as to not drag out. However, it also affected the quality of the chapters.

It's either too long and dragged out, or it's short and too fast.

Probably because she remembers good times with the price when they were younger. One of the earlier chapters shows that they got along well. She's most likely wishing for him to be the way he was and refusing to see what he's like now.

I wonder what Akira's condition is. He seemed pretty weak, unable to fight. Medis probably can fight after resting a little bit, but what does she count for? Calvina doesn't exactly look like she even remembers anymore that she was supposed to be Medis and Akira's bodyguard. Her other mission claimed all of her attention. Medis seems to think the king of Pansylvenia would rather try to wash his hands and appear innocent, but at the end of the day, the king isn't the greatest power in a country that's cooperating with the singularities. If those singularities decide to do something, the king can only try to come up with excuses and explanations to save his own skin. Akira and Medis's only hope is that the singularities don't really like to make public appearances, instead they rely on their minions whenever possible.

Also who knows what the singularities really want. Akira might be far too interesting for them right now to do anything hasty. After Akira displayed powers the singularities themselves would be incapable of, it's possible they want to only observe for the time being.

Just like what i said last time, the twist, terminologies and explanation, gets me curious and try to understand. But at the same time makes me out of place the more it revealed the past and truths with no proper explanation at all.
