He was clearly always thinking about her in his first life, so it's kinda unnecessary for him to also loop. The change needed was Violetta's independence, not him fixing everything in the background.

Him constantly going "this time we'll do it right!" was also just annoying. Maybe it was supposed to be misleading, to make us think that he was referring to the event in their childhood, but it made Violetta seem stupid for never realizing he also looped.


However, I do like that we got a MC who said fuck it, I'll just be stronger than my past and live my own way.

Possibly the best so far. The addition of the second character looping was a bit overcomplicated and the pitfalls of squeezing a second life into a single chapter are visible here. However, this chapter shows they can be done, if not gracefully, well enough.

This chapter shows that it is not the actual concept that has made the other chapters bad.

I'm trying not to be too much of a hater, but my opinion of this entire anthology so far has just been "it's alright." I would have liked the editors to take this chance to highlight some actually good stories, but all of them just feel like they're just choosing stories to fill a quota. And the authors are also just filling some sort of quota. It's all factory manufactured junk food with just enough sustenance until the next junk food meal

And like I'm not entirely opposed to that. I love junk food oneshots. Some can be surprisingly good. It's a nice snack. But surely if editors are intentionally going through and compiling them, they can give us something meatier

This anthology is... Hm. This chapter was probably the best in this anthology yet I'd still give it a solid... 6,5, maybe a 7 if I stretch. Like its not BAD but.. Ehh. The others being so lowtier pulls the whole thing down and this one feels more like a lucky accident, than intentionally "better than the others".
