Pure horror? Probably something like You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead, the ending may have been not so good but it was still really enjoyable.

Another great horror manga would be the anthology of Higurashi called Higurashi called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Kataribanashi-hen Comic Anthology EX. (Mind you, not all the chapters contain horror). If you have the time and have read/watched Higurashi, you should definitely find this one on another website and read it, especially chapter 11, Butterfly.

This manga does horror very well with both it's story telling and art, plus the underlying story that happens between each ghost story is also interesting. It's where one of my favorite reaction panels comes from too.

This manga does horror very well with both it's story telling and art, plus the underlying story that happens between each ghost story is also interesting. It's where one of my favorite reaction panels comes from too.

When I first read mieruko Chan it was something. Never before I feel shiver from a manga. The ghost design is immaculate.

And "100 story before my death" is slow rotting story, fermenting and getting more and more pungent. You read the story, hope the boy found salvation, but ultimately you know.... It's all futile.... He gonna die

There is also that one survival horror with pig mark guy on stranded island, the one with cult that I forgot it's title.

I was gonna say pumpkin night, but remembering it the story isn't that good. It's just gore fest and edgy story line. There is also jujika no rokunin where it supposed to be good, but they stretch the story so much I don't want it anymore.

That shit is really hyped me, but it got stretch too much I can't even see the shaped anymore. I still curse it everytime I see the update.

Talking about horror, I remember reading some horror gore without ghost. The stoy is about a farm and revenge. They have absurd promise but I can felt the tension. And the POV is from a chicken. I forgot the title.
