Chapter 51 is out and free to read. For those who a summary...

The chapter starts off with an angry Chisaki grabbing Riku by his shirt, asking if he forced himself onto Moka. Riku did admit that while he did force a kiss onto Moka, but he also said that Moka enjoyed it because she stuck out her tongue out for him. Riku also mentioned that he already programmed Moka (she already been developed, get it?), and that he's going to have lots of sex with her again. Moka is in denial, telling Ueno with tears streaming down her face that she didn't stick her tongue for Riku. Seeing Moka crying caused Chisaki to grab Riku by his shirt again, with Kanako trying to calm Chisaki down. Meanwhile, Tsubomi comforted Moka as Ueno stands around stunned by not only by this development but by learning that Moka is just him. Riku then told Moka not to cry anymore and that they'll talk again later.

The scene changes to Ueno meeting up with his tennis club. I think one of the members told Ueno the status about the opponent's team and how they're going out to drink instead of playing tennis with them. Ueno's members asked about Moka which the scene transition to Kanako, Tsubomi, Moka's two roommates watching Moka under the sheets. Moka said she just feeling under the weather. Kanako mentioned it would be easier if her roommates will watch over Moka and that she and Tsubomi will head back to their room. Meanwhile, Chisaki was in the smoking room, take a smoke as she reflects on what happened. When she steps out, Ueno was waiting for her, asking about Moka. Chisaki scolded Ueno for not doing anything to stop Riku from kissing Moka, saying how pathetic it is for Ueno to not protect his friend.

The scene then changes to the opponent's team at a karaoke. One of the members asked what happened to Riku.

Well, you see Riku in the bathroom, fucking NOT Moka but one of his classmates, showing how Riku didn't change one bit. As that happened, Ueno was sitting in his room with his classmates, reflecting about the situation with Riku-Moka and Moka's confession. The scene ends with both Ueno and Moka looking sad and pathetic.

The most noticeable thing about this chapter is Ueno realizing that Moka is programmed just like him. Instead of her being a masochist, Moka is a slave to her lust towards her ex. Moka's sister told Ueno that if he can't overcome a challenge alone, he needs to find someone with a similar goal in order to beat it together. Now, he found someone at last to share his desires to break his programming. Ueno needs to find his resolve and admit the truth to Moka. They don't have to be a couple at the end but admitting the truth will be the biggest turning point to Ueno.

Chisaki both gained and lost alot of points with me this chapter. On one hand, good for her stepping in and standing up for Moka like that, but she is also kind of a hypocrite too scolding Ueno for not having a backbone when she is a big reason why his social confidence is shattered. Not to mention she is basically his Riku as well. The latter I can prolly give her a pass for not making the connection, but I sure hope Ueno makes it for her. Maybe give a wake up call that while she was having fun with him, it was destroying him mentally. Granted she might think it's ok because he jacks himself off, but we'll see

That's one of my immediate thoughts when I first saw that scene. It does look hypocritical, but I feel like Chisaki was relaying what the readers was probably thinking seeing Ueno showing no agency towards the situation between Moka and Riku. It's also probably frustrating for Chisaki to see Ueno who was resisting her previously at their last encounter do nothing this time against Riku, especially when Moka was calling out Ueno's name while she was sobbing.

Yes, and not every major character is programmed like Ueno and Moka.

And really that is prolly my one benefit of the doubt for her is that she is not making the connection or maybe she thinks he is partially at fault cause he more often than not goes along with it, where in this case Moka was forced. I feel the only way she is gonna make the connection without Ueno flat out telling her she put him in a similar experience is that if Moka gives in and they have sex leaving Chisaki confused initially until she is like "oh shit" with some clarity. Matter of fact that's gonna me my theory with the direction this story is gonna go

So while at...reflection time I stumbled upon this and went "Wait, what the fuck, how does this have 50 chapters and 1000 pages? Huh?" and despite not being into the tags, I decided to check it out anyway. It's been going for so long, after all. And the more I read it, the more hooked I got. I'm really not into the fetishes displayed here, which in a way makes it a better reading experience due to how uncomfortable the premise of what they're doing to him makes me, and once I noticed there actually was something special with the characters and the plot, I had to keep going. I didn't expect to find a manga I liked so much like this, and I definitely want to see more of where this goes

Behind the scenes videos of the manga and the mangaka discussing about his work amongst other things with another new hire.

After watching parts of the videos, they're actually newly hired editors but you do see them editing this manga work in the first video.

Chapter 52 is out and free to read. There is a lot of talking between Ueno and Riku. For those who a summary...

The scene starts off with Moka recovering after what happened last chapter. Her two roommates wonder if Ueno was the reason why she was sad, but Moka tells them it was due to her ex, Riku. Speaking of Riku, he was walking back to the hotel from the karaoke club with the girl he fucked with last chapter when he encountered Ueno waiting for him. Riku and Ueno decide to have a one-on-one talk about Moka.

Riku affirms that he is serious about Moka and wants to restart their relationship. Ueno asks him if something happened between them to cause the breakup. Riku reveals that even though Moka loved him, Riku felt lonely, so he sought out the companionship of other women to fill the emptiness in his heart. Ueno asks Riku if he cheated, which he doesn't answer, so Ueno follow-up by telling Riku not to hurt Moka anymore. Riku then explains to Ueno that he doesn't love Moka because he likes hurting her and him kissing Moka is proof that his love is genuine. Ueno reminds Riku that his kiss was forced, but Riku explains that he only kissed Moka without hesitation to remind her of the chemistry the two had. After all, Moka didn't push him away until Chisaki snapped her out of it, right?

"That was lust," replies Ueno. Hearing those words surprises both Riku and Ueno himself. Riku counters that even if it was sexual desire that caused Moka to make out with him, there is nothing wrong if they are both in love with each other. Ueno tells Riku that Moka wanted to change—to break free from her programming, the programming that Riku created so she can start over and live a normal college life. Upon hearing all of that, Riku replies that if Moka had sex with him while trying to be "normal," would that be okay?

Besides, Riku continues, he knows the real Moka. The real Moka that Ueno doesn't know: she loves having sex with Riku. Their sexual compatibility is off-the-charts good, and her repeatedly telling Riku that she loves him during sex is proof of her feelings. Only he can make Moka happy, not Ueno, because Riku understands Moka better than him. Riku then walks away from Ueno, saying that he will find Moka tomorrow and talk to her in a place where no one will disturb them. Once that happens, Moka will remember her feelings toward Riku.

In his internal thoughts, Ueno knows that Moka is just like him. Even if Moka loves him, the more she resists her programming, the stronger her desires will become. However, Ueno wonders if he has the right to stop Riku's plans. What if Moka actually enjoys being programmed? Upon being reminded of Moka's desire for a fresh start at college causes Ueno to steel his resolve.

Ueno speaks out to Riku, saying that people who hurt Moka are not needed in her life anymore and that he doesn't know anything about Moka, not Ueno! Riku, looking at Ueno as a naive child, tells him that true love is achieved by hurting people. Ueno angrily tells Riku to shut up and stop talking about Moka's past! Moka desperately wants to move on from her past, Ueno told him. That's why Ueno, who was turning his hands into fists, proclaims to Riku that HE WILL NOT LET HIM RUIN MOKA'S HAPPINESS!!!!

Talk about PEAK character development!! Ueno took Chisaki's criticism of his previous inaction to heart and now is taking a bold stance to protect his friend from her ex. I don't know what strategy Ueno will reveal to stop Riku for good, but I am rooting for him.

Chapter 53 is out and free to read. For those who want a summary...

So it's another morning and Ueno's group decided to rent out a court to play tennis since that's the purpose of the trip. Ueno made eye contact with Moka but she looked away out of shame. While they're playing, the enemy team showed up for the sole purpose of picking up chicks from Ueno's group. They tried to ask out the bully trio but they refused, with Tsubomi laughing about the rejection. One of the players from the other team took an interest in Tsubomi and took her hat away from her.

( They were ready to turn this dude into mincemeat, lol).

The other dudes from the enemy's team then started to complain, saying that if Ueno's team doesn't want to hang out with them, they should pay the enemy's team travel expenses. With a big sigh, Chisaki told the dudes that she will play with them. Chisaki did ask Kanako if it's O.K for her to do that with Kanako replying that it's O.K as long as she doesn't overdo it. Chisaki left the tennis court, bringing all the dudes along with her (R.I.P them).

After the scene, Tsubomi decided that she wants to play tennis since she's free now. The girls on Ueno's team wants to play doubles with Tsubomi, surprising her a bit but she happily said yes. I think Ueno asked her Tsubomi if she's nervous playing which she denies. I also think Ueno made a comment on how sociable Tsubomi is and how everyone on the group is a good person which caused Tsubomi to look down out of a guilt as she remembers her past bullying of Ueno.

qKnJUXr.png

Ueno's attention then shifted to his tennis buddies. He told them he will borrow one court because he will play a match against someone from the enemy's team. That person? Riku. During the talk between them last chapter, Riku realized how serious Ueno is about Moka and challenged Ueno to a match with Moka on the line.

Riku arrived on the court along with a group of girls from his tennis group, surprising Moka. The chapter ends with Ueno handing him a racket and telling him to get ready.

coJOuaw.png

Riku: " Watch closely."
Ueno: " Shall we do this?"

We're actually going to have a serious tennis game in this manga, lol. I hope the author studies on how to draw a tennis match scene...

I assume Riku isn't a slouch when it comes to tennis unlike the other dudes who only joined the tennis group to score some chicks. If so, the match-up will not be an easy victory for Ueno. Can Ueno put his training to his test and beat Riku to protect Moka?

I like to imagine Ueno gets defeated but through the encouragement of Kanako or someone else, reneges the deal he made to Riku, and tells Moka the truth about him as a way to stop him. We'll see next chapter...

Chapter 54 is out and free to read. Is this a sports manga now? For those who want a summary...

Story starts off with a flashback with a younger Riku preparing to play tennis with this tennis group. Unfortunately for him, he injured himself while playing. After his injury was healed, Riku told his guidance counselor that he won't play tennis in high school, lamenting to himself that his peers are experiencing youth without him. While Riku is walking home from school, a single tear swelled from one of his eyes, saying how "emo" the whole situation is.

Back to present day, Ueno's tennis group and Riku's group is watching the tennis match between Riku and Ueno about to unfold. Moka's friends speculated that the reason Riku and Ueno are having a tennis match is due to Moka which caused her to blush. Chisaki returned to watch the game, along with the group of the douches from Riku's tennis team all beat-up because of her, lol. Chisaki asked Ueno what's going on and Ueno told her the reason why he's having a match against Riku. Chisaki walked away, telling Ueno not to lose and don't act pathetic in the game.

Zk8yB6U.png

HB0TPjG.png

After that, the match begins between Riku and Ueno. It's a single set. First to win six games is the victor. Even though Moka told her friends that Riku hasn't played tennis in high school, he is no slouch. Overtime, Riku managed to gain the advantage, with current score being 5-15 Riku and 4-40 Ueno. However, Riku noticed that Ueno doesn't look exhausted at all compared to him. Riku then thought about his time in his middle school tennis group and his former non-sexual relationship with Moka and saying to himself that Moka needs to wait for him, as if he wins, he's going to restart their entire relationship over.

Riku with a change of heart in wanting a pure relationship with Moka again? Even if it was a genuine change, I doubt he will be able to resist going back to his cheating ways...

Besides that, Ueno may be losing but he's not exhausted. It looks like he can win the war of attrition against Riku. That, and maybe Riku will over-extend himself during the final push to beat Ueno, injuring himself again in the process. If that happens + with some sweet talk how he's trying to change for Moka, it might cause Moka to relapse, which will be devastating.

Ueno doesn't get tired because of the cardio involved in dealing with the three bullies.

Also because he has massive balls.

Chapter 55 is out and free to read. The tennis battle between Ueno and Riku concludes. Who won? Read the chapter or this summary to find out.

The story starts off with a flashback with Moka breaking up with Riku, saying that she can't be in a relationship with a cheater. Riku put his hand on her shoulder, asking Moka for some break-up sex, which caused a shocked Moka to run off. The next scene is Moka in her room masturbating out of frustration.

Fast forward to present time, Moka and the rest of the tennis group are watching the tennis game between Ueno and Riku, with Riku on the verge of winning with the score 5-40 vs Ueno's 4-40. While she was watching, Moka's inner self appears, asking her " Isn't it impossible?", paralleling the same scene of Ueno when he was about to have sex with Chisaki. Moka's inner self tells Moka that she is tainted, and she will not be able to have a normal relationship with a new person, like Ueno. Her inner self asked Moka if she intends to continue deceiving herself.

Before Moka can respond, Ueno trips and falls to the ground after hitting the tennis ball to Riku. Riku hits the ball back, attempting to win the game. Ueno gets back up, without his glasses, and managed to hit the ball just in time. Unfortunately, the ball struck the net, giving Riku the win. Everyone on Ueno's tennis group is either shocked or disappointed from the outcome. Riku's tennis group started to laugh at Ueno losing the game, but Chisaki shuts them down by striking the wall and yelling at them.

Ueno is on the ground from a sprained ankle, causing Moka to rush towards his aid. Ueno's guy buddies attempted to help him out too, but Moka's friends told them to leave them be, causing Ueno's guy buddies to realize what's going on between Moka and Ueno(lol).

Moka handled Ueno back his glasses and asked him if he only played a match with Riku because of her sake. Ueno admitted the truth about the match, saying that he couldn't allow himself to a let a person like Riku get near Moka. Ueno also apologized to Moka for not being strong enough to stop Riku from kissing her, which caused Moka to wonder why Ueno is apologizing for that! Ueno proclaims that he will be a better person before Riku interrupted them, reminding Ueno about their promise. The chapter ends with Riku extending his hand at Moka, saying that two of them need to talk somewhere that nobody will be interrupt them so he can make Moka remember her dormant feelings towards him.

Ueno put up a good fight but unfortunately, he lost. Hopefully, Ueno's words after the match will cause Moka to gain the ability to break her programming by her own. After all, Moka is on the crossroads of her fate, and the next chapter will determine which path she will follow. Will Moka find the resolve to deceive herself enough to banish Riku next chapter the same way Ueno managed to do so with Chisaki? I believe so, but we'll see next chapter.

I knew when they changed the tone of the volume covers that some newcomers might feel mislead after reading the contents of this manga.

Don't forget to read the summary next time
