Frankenstein's monster? Did Mary Shelley get isekai'd too?
This is honestly one of the most confusing mistakes any isekai series can make imo- if the "other world" is supposed to be a game made in our world, it makes sense that the devs might throw in familiar things, right? Except, 99% of the time the implication is at least that the game was brought over to our world by the gods to lure in suckers screen for heroes (or whatever) & so the only possible reason the holiday is so similar would be that either the gods of the other world liked our holiday's specific aesthetics & copied it, or the other world started the tradition & it somehow made its way here long before the game did, or it's just the world's biggest coincidence that similar holidays also ended up with the same aesthetics despite how drastically different they end up even within our own real world... but then they add in shit like Frankenstein which is even more specific and nonsensical to cross over, & it makes it even more convoluted to try to smooth over that wrinkle, and it ends up only being explainable as "author didn't give a shit lol". It's fine here since it's goofy all the way through, but in some other series it's like "what the fuck was your true motivation here" seeing an author add something that's just disruptive to their own worldbuilding if anyone stops to think about it for any amount of time, lol

Even without the magic the swallowing hazard is a problem. I never liked that stupid custom of hiding trinkets in food.
as a canadian, I stand by kinder eggs, not our fault american children were too stupid and swallowed the toy inside

His family should probably write down the things they want to say on a note and just quickly throw it in through the portal the next time it appears. Or better yet, pages of the stuff plus downloaded guides in a phone.
While not a bad idea, the daughter already said Grace's brother and Pascal are characters from the new DLC, so there are no guides for their characters yet.

I think it's about time we give up on actually getting Anna a boyfriend and accepted the fact that she's on the Grace route. In which case, more information in general might be helpful in itself.

Eh, I don't know if there were any differences between American kids and other nations with the candy/toy(in terms of stupidity or lack thereof). I am sure there are plenty of American kids who ate kinder eggs problem free, and plenty of Canadian kids who swallowed them.

But it's not kinders fault this country has to be so excessively litigious(both greedy people and greedy lawyers) that stuff like this is completely banned and we have to have safety labels on everything.

It's insane the stuff I have seen safety labeling for, both mandated by laws, and done preemptively by manufacturers to preemptively defend themselves against a lawsuit from someone who might horribly misuse their product.

Sometimes it's like a Russian nesting doll of safety labeling for a single product.

I always thought that the inclusion of the MC's family was a bad idea and I still think that.

I don't think it brings anything to the story except for the promise of the MC returning home someday, which in itself is bad because it removes an element of surprise to the story. MC will go back home, we just don't know when. The fact the original Grace still exists somewhere also correlate this probable ending.
