i like that they aren't immediately jumping to 9-tailed foxes like other series would do
I'm thinking more like it's evolved to 8-tails and then some kind of trigger (shady deal with demons, empowering medicine, etc....) will give it a temporary 9th tail.If it is the original 7-Tail fox leader she probably evolved to a 9-Tails over the last hundred years, and she's invading again now that she's stronger.
I think it might be more like full scale war he wants her to avoid. There is a difference between fighting off 1-10 people and hundreds to thousands of people killing each other.Tiera hasn't fought people before? I didn't remember that. But then again, it's not really an ultra violent world. That being said, it's not necessarily wise to try to have her avoid it entirely. In adventuring, exploring and travelling in general, you never know when you might encounter bandits and such. If you hesitate then, it would be costly.
Actually, in chapter 24 she sniped a bandit with her bow with zero hesitation. The same chapter where she brought back Shin from his killer (player) mood by pressing his face between her breasts.
well Tamamo is gonna probably be a 9 tails by the time of the climax... maybe with that drug that the bear used.i like that they aren't immediately jumping to 9-tailed foxes like other series would do
that's because you have the wrong mindset, there's not supposed to be any tension, it's not about whether or not he can beat something, it's about HOW he will do it and how cool it will be.Even if it where a 9 or 20 tails fox, we know that Shin can beat it. Thats one of the downsides of the "OP MC" trope, it takes away any tension.
I tend to avoid mangas with too strong main character, but this one was interesting. Seeing a game world turning reality is nothing new, but this manga made it right.
Now this arc been quite boring. Then again, every feudal Japan arc in fantasy mangas are over prolonged and insufferable, not even One Piece could avoid it.
For example, stories like Superman or Onepunch Man should not be read with the intent on wondering whether they will win a fight or not. They will. The struggle is not about the fight, but moral or mental issues.that's because you have the wrong mindset, there's not supposed to be any tension, it's not about whether or not he can beat something, it's about HOW he will do it and how cool it will be.
