And people do music for different reasons, and it's fine.

Kurt Cobain wasn't a prophet. He had a way of approaching music that worked for him.

But the theme song to season 3 of MaIruma slaps hard, and is overproduced, boy band pop created to make money.

A bunch of Thrill Kill Kult rules and all they did was so arrangements of ONE chord progression, with the sole goal of paying for drugs and getting laid.

I don't have interest it making formulaic music to get likes, but if something is good, it's good.

Hell, the lyrics are cringe but the song "Love Gun" by Kiss slaps hard AF. Kiss sucks and was a bunch of dickheads who could barely play. Nickelback of their day, but with fans.

PS: most people don't hate Nickelback. They're really popular. It's just that people that CARE about music don't like them. I can't stand them.

Yeah, this must be rough for Mitsuki. In a scenario like this it can be harder to be with decent people you don't gel with rather than people you just dislike. It's awkward, because no one is doing anything actively wrong (even asking to cut the guitar solo is just expressing a creative opinion), but that makes it harder on yourself when you're unhappy. She was already questioning if she was the problem after her previous bands. Now she's just forcing herself to make this work.
