Couldn't he at least keep the method to break the seal out of it?
I do have to respect his principles though.
Exactly my thought, i have no qualms about how he would like to keep their tragic history and the epoch of their heroic friends. But why on earth he want to convey the method to break the seal as well?? That's not genius, that's stupid.

It feels a bit heavy-handed to just reveal him as the modern Odin right away. I would've rather watched whatever he does next and have that lead into the reveal.

These past 2 chapters were fucking so well paced. God damn now THIS is how you do flashbacks. The last 3-4 fights were so fucking boring

On the other hand, knowing how the seal is broken means knowing how to prevent it as well. He was also convinced that the primordial gods will eventually escape one day, but equally believed that in the future their descendants will have a means of finishing the fight. And on that front, knowing how to break the seal so that you can launch an offensive on your own terms, when the timing and circumstances are most favorable to you n' yours, is a vital strategic asset. Compared to now where most of the gods- never mind humanity- have no clue what's coming or what could be unleashed upon them.

To add to this. there no guarantee no random gods would find any of the 4 runs [which the survivors of ragnarok didn't know were]

The offensive in return is Sakata kintoki who has Gollnir rune

So what you're saying is Gollnir is a fucking idiot and all of this is his fault.
Yes but at the same time the other primordial gods could have worked to train a new generation to deal with the threat should they become unsealed in the future but didnt.

What's all this hate for Gollnir's wife about? She can have her own opinion, even if it kills her husband... Because that's each one's decision.

There were also no hard feelings in any party, wich is impressive.

Media illiteracy and a lack of thought or understanding towards nuance. Being generous, a married couple should always stand beside each other through thick and thin, no matter what. Being cynical? A wife should always be on her husband's side and follow his lead.

Then it's an ideology issue. I don't think a wife should do that, does it even work the other way too? Anyways, thanks for adding to the discussion, I think I got a bit more of an understanding.

Why does everyone think the wife was wrong when it seems (still to be determined) that Gollnir and his book is the reason that Odin even knows how to free the Yggdrasil and bring about doom to everything?

Like make the other Gods shouldn't have just overwritten people's memories but Gollnir ALSO shouldn't be writing down stuff for EVIL cray-cray people that want world annihilation.
