This message is for readers who may not know who Philia Scans are. I initially considered placing this at the end of the chapter, but felt it would disrupt the mood, so I decided to post it in the comments instead.

Philia Scans are widely regarded as one of the worst scanlation groups. They were banned from MangaDex in 2024 for stealing chapters from other scanlation groups, adding their own credit pages, and even paywalling those stolen chapters on their official website.

The reason I’m addressing this now is because one of their members recently contacted me and behaved very rudely—despite the fact that they have shown no respect for other groups or the community in the first place.

This message is mainly for new readers who may not be aware of their history or practices.

This looks like this will be a fun story to read & I predict this will make it to Mangadex's front page since you have a gyaru in the title plus the art looks nice. I do hope story goes in the right direction & not go into heavy drama or trash territory. Edit: Forgot to mention but this is sort of similar to My Dress Up Darling with the MC being a handy introvert & the FMC is a gyaru model but maybe that's just me missing that manga.

@moonlit_bae I would argue that ComicDom (user filzeV-zer0) should be considered as one of the worst groups. Reason why is because the owner of that group would pump & dump chapters in addition to e-begging for donations to release more chapters. The quality of their chapters are atrocious but again that's personal opinion so feel free to disagree. Anyways thank you for the translations.

Ah, but that guy looks bright and extroverted, of course he's going to be social and get away with it. A weird introvert who sits alone and draws with his pencil while mumbles to himself 'should know his place', and MC indeed intends to keep to himself and avoid upsetting 'the higher castes' and their followers.

I was gonna jokingly shit on this manga just for being "another generic rom-com manga" but its not half bad. The shy MC personality felt natural and not way over the top. FMC probably knows our boy from somewhere (no duh from her reaction). You know, we never really get the simple plot but fun mangas. This will be a treat.

Also I don't know who Philia Scans and judging from the comic shared by moonlit_bae (great work artist Chen), I'm glad I don't. I have seen some asshole groups but that is just gross behavior. If you don't feel tired when doing scanlations, then you're probably doing something wrong.

Wonder if she'll actively tell off all the jealous inqusition classmates next chapter if they give the ML shit, or if she'll ignore that and treat any abuse/harrassment sent his way like a joke/no big deal.

If it's the former, I'll be optimistic about this one. If it's the latter, then this isn't doing anything new, and I'll have one less title to follow.

But I respect the professionalism and integrity of the scanlation group for this iteration. Already wasn't paying attention to the 'other group' mentioned, but will actively make a note and avoid them going forward.
